The program assignment, titled, “FS 6140 National This is Who We Are (TIWWA) Employee Engagement Session 1” was assigned to “ALL FS” on Jan. The session also dives into the interdependence of our values, our mission and our work environment. They will examine the learning journey that led us here and invest in relationships with their colleagues. Local units will be offering sessions throughout the entire calendar year coordinated by their region/station/area unit coordinator.ĭuring the session, employees will explore the concepts that comprise TIWWA. Sessions will be offered by the national cadre of ambassadors to targeted groups in an expedited rollout over the next four months including leadership teams, district rangers, the public affairs community, front-liners and others.

The intended 2020 employee engagement has been converted to a virtual session to be delivered to employees in calendar year 2021. To further the Forest Service's commitment to being values-based, purpose-driven and relationship-focused, the agency has developed learning engagements for our workforce on the concepts embedded in TIWWA and the agency has recruited and trained nearly 200 peer ambassadors to lead these sessions.
